Waltermire attended Texas Christian University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Following graduation, he served the United States as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. While employed by the government, Frank was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Subsequently, Waltermire served for six years as a United States Magistrate Judge with the U.S. District Court for the federal judicial district which includes Brazoria County, Fort Bend County, Galveston County, Harris County, Chambers County, Matagorda County and Wharton County. During his tenure as a judge, Frank taught law as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law School. Waltermire's other legal experience includes trials and appeals in commercial, construction, bankruptcy and employment litigation, real estate, banking, probate, wills and general business law. County Bar Association; Brazoria County Business Round Table; Brazoria Chamber
of Commerce; Executive Committee, Brazoria County Republican Party; and
